At Elemento Design Studio, we are dedicated to the art of residential design. Our work is shaped by over 15 years of international experience, we have worked closely with homeowners to transform their spaces into places that feel warm, personal, and full of meaning.

Our mission is to guide clients in creating interiors that are thoughtful, intentional, and deeply personal projects.

We believe good design is also responsible. Our cabinetry selections prioritize manufacturers with recognized sustainability certifications, reflecting a commitment to environmentally conscious practices, long-term durability, and responsible material sourcing.

OUR PROCESS

At ELEMENTO Design Studio, every project begins with close attention to detail. Whether it’s a focused consultation on color and finishes or a full kitchen or bathroom remodel, we approach each project with the same level of care, precision, and respect for your home.

We work through clear planning, accurate site measurements, and 3D tools from the start, allowing ideas to be tested early and decisions to feel confident. By combining custom solutions, clear documentation, and close collaboration with contractors and vendors, ELEMENTO creates high impact through intentional design, no matter the size of the project.

Meet the Team

  • LORENA JOHNSON

    FOUNDER / DESIGNER

    Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Lorena built her career as an architect before moving to Seattle where she now works as an interior designer. With more than 15 years of combined experience, she has been involved in a wide range of residential projects from kitchen and bathroom remodels to full home renovations.

    Her strong background in cabinetry and casework design gives her a unique perspective, blending architectural training with an interior designer’s eye for detail. Lorena is passionate about guiding clients through the design process.

    Outside of work, Lorena has a deep love for arts and crafts including pottery and furniture restoration. She also treasures daily walks with her dog, Lalo.

  • LALO

    TREATS MANAGER

    Meet Lalo, Lorena’s loyal Westie and constant companion. Lalo inspires us daily to design spaces that are welcoming, playful, and full of life. He loves long walks at Lincoln Park and meeting new friends along the way.

    His specialties include daily naps, keeping morale high at the studio, and knowing exactly when it is time for a well-deserved treat. Lalo is also proudly bilingual, he understands “Vámonos” and “Let’s go” equally well, especially if snacks are involved.
